In this case, offence under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 has been registered. In that light, the learned counsel for the applicant seeks permission to amend the application, in order to add the informant as a party respondent No.2.

In the interest of justice, the prayer is granted. Amendment be carried forthwith to add the informant as party respondent No.2. 3.

Issue notice to respondent No.2, returnable on 05.07.2024. 4.

Respondent No.2 shall be served through the Investigating Officer, for which purpose the applicant shall provide an additional set of papers to the Investigating Officer.
