Learned counsel for the applicant submits that trial is not progressive and the first witness was examined only in the year 2024. He further submits that the reason given by the trial Court is that the accused was not mentally fit to undergo trial during the intervening period.

Learned APP on instruction submits that eight witnesses are remained to be examined and the trial could be concluded within a period of two months.

Considering the above statement and the fact that this case is

In case the trial is not concluded within such period, the applicant is at liberty to approach this Court for bail. 5.
