In the present case, Applicant is incarcerated for the past more than 3 years in an offence under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short "NDPS Act") wherein he has apprehended alongwith 100 grams of the alleged contraband MD.

Learned Advocate for Applicant would submit that charge has not been framed.

Ms. Bajoria, learned APP is directed to take appropriate instructions from the Investigating Officer and apprise the Court about the specific role of Applicant in the crime on the next adjourned date.
