Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

When the Court expressed its disinclination to entertain the application, learned Counsel for the Applicant seeks leave to withdraw the application. Learned Counsel, however, submitted that the applicant has been in custody since three and half years, and, thus, prayed for a direction to expedite the trial. 3.

Having regard to the period of incarceration of the applicant, the prayer for expeditious conclusion of the trial appears justifiable. 4.

The application stands dismissed as withdrawn. 5.

Learned Sessions Judge seized with Sessions Case No.96 of 2021 arising out of C.R.No.24 of 2021 is requested to make an endeavour to commence and SSP 1/2
