In this application, attention of this Court is invited to order dated 23rd August 2023 passed in the second bail application of the applicant, wherein it was recorded that 8 witnesses were already examined during the course of trial and that 9 more witnesses were proposed to be examined. In that light, the application was disposed of with direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial preferably within 6 months. It is brought to the notice of this Court that more than a year has passed since the said order and 8 more witnesses have been examined. But, as recently as on 22nd November 2024, the prosecution has given a list of 12 more witnesses to be examined.

In view of the above, the learned APP seeks short
