In the present case, Applicant is a foreign national having incarcerated for more than 3 years pending trial in an offence under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Though on the previous occasion a report dated 20.12.2024 was placed before the Court pursuant to order passed by this Court on 16.12.2024, Ms. Achari would now submit that the family of the Applicant are making an attempt to obtain a fresh passport and if at all the fresh passport will be obtained by them, they shall deposit the same in compliance with condition for bail imposed upon the Applicant in the earlier date.

In that view of the matter, the issue relating to breach of condition of the passport stands rested.

Ms. Newton, learned APP is directed to take appropriate instructions from the Investigating Officer and apprise the Court about the specific role of Applicant in the crime on the next adjourned date when the present Application shall be heard and decided. 5.

List the Bail Application on Board on 29th April, 2025. To be placed on the 'Supplementary Board'.
