The learned APP to verify as to whether notice has been served on respondent No.2 as the present case involves offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 also. 2.

Considering the fact that the applicant was arrested on 27.02.2017 and he has remained behind bars for more than 7 years, the learned APP is expected to take appropriate instructions at the earliest. 3.

If the respondent No.2 is not served, the investigating officer shall ensure that notice is served upon the said respondent within one week from today.
