In this application, on 14th August 2024, this Court directed service on the respondent No.2 through the Investigating Officer. The learned APP submits that efforts were made, but the respondent No.2 is not traceable and this fact is also mentioned in the General Diary Details for the date of 15th August 2024. The documents tendered by the learned APP are taken on record. 2.

Considering the fact that the applicant has remained behind bars for more than 7 years, it would be appropriate that an Advocate is appointed to represent respondent No.2, so that the application can be taken up for consideration. Ms. Komal Sinha, Advocate, who is on the panel maintained by the High Court Legal Services Committee, is present in Court and she is appointed to appear on behalf of the respondent No.2.
