The learned counsel for the applicant submits that copy of application was served on the concerned police station on 30.07.2024. The learned APP does not have clear instructions as to whether the papers are served on respondent No.2 or not.

The applicant in the present case, was arrested on 17.06.2021 and therefore, the learned counsel for the applicant is pressing for hearing of the application.

The learned APP to take clear instructions regarding service on respondent No.2. In any case, it would be appropriate that the High Court Legal Services Authority immediately appoints an advocate from its panel to represent respondent No.2.

The applicant shall serve an additional set of papers on the office of the High Court Legal Services Committee, within one week from today. 5.

List the application for consideration/hearing on 06.09.2024, to be included in the supplementary list.
