The learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP were heard for some time.

When this Court was not inclined to grant any relief in the present application and the application was to be dismissed, the learned counsel appearing for the applicant, on instructions, sought permission to withdraw the present application.

A submission was made on behalf of the applicant that since the applicant is behind the bars for more than one and half years and chargesheet was already filed, this Court may issue appropriate directions for expediting the proceedings and for framing of charges. 4.

The concerned Court is directed to frame charges within six weeks from today.

In the event, the charge is not framed within the said period of time and the delay is not attributable to the applicant, he is given liberty to file an appropriate application to renew his prayer.
