At the outset, the learned counsel for the applicant invites attention of this Court to order dated 30.04.2024, whereby the applicant was directed to amend the application so as to implead the victim as party respondent by appropriately concealing her identity and the amendment was to be carried out within one week from the date of the order. 2.
It is pointed out that subsequently, there has been change of advocates due to which the amendment could not be carried out. 3.
It is further submitted on behalf of the applicant that the statement of victim has been recorded under Section 164 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C.) in the meanwhile, wherein she has absolved the applicant of by PRIYA KAMBLI Date:

In view of the above, time for carrying out amendment in terms of order dated 30.04.2024, is extended by one week from today. 5.
The applicant shall serve an additional set of papers on the investigating officer to serve respondent No.2-victim. The investigating officer shall ensure service upon the victim within one week of receiving the additional set of papers.
6.
The statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of Cr.P.C. shall be placed on record within one week from today. 7.
