Heard Mr. Dave, learned Advocate for the Applicant. He has ably taken me through the record of the case. However, after perusing the record, I have expressed my mind to the learned Advocate for the Applicant. He would submit that considering age of the Applicant as also the fact that she is in long incarceration for three years, this Court may be pleased to direct the learned trial Court to expedite the trial so that the Applicant does not suffer the ignominy of long incarceration. 2.

I have heard Ms. Newton, learned APP for the Respondent - State. She would inform the Court that the next date before the trial Court is 13.01.2025. Mr. Dave, learned Advocate for the Applicant Anand

6. BA 1964-2024.doc would also submit that there are four prosecution witnesses only which they desire to examine. In view of the above, considering the age of the Applicant, the learned trial Court is directed by this Court to expedite the trial of the Applicant. The prosecution shall take appropriate steps to expedite the trial.
