This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No. 246 of 2023 registered at Shivajinagar Police Station, Dist-Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 472, and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code. 3.
The allegations against the present applicant and coaccused are of preparing a forged Sale Deed of the immovable property owned by the complainant and his family members. It is further alleged that on the basis of said forged Sale Deed, they had sold the property owned by the complainant to third party and accepted Rs.15 Lakhs from them.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has nothing to do with the alleged crime. It is submitted that all the offences are triable by the Magistrate. It is submitted that applicant is in jail for one year and the trial has not commenced.

On the other hand, the learned A.P.P. submits that considering the nature of offence, the applicant may not be released on bail.

Considering the nature of offence of preparing forged Sale Deed by using forged governments seals, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail. The application is rejected.
