CORAM : MANISH PITALE, J.

DATE :

20th JUNE, 2024 P.C. :

.

After arguing the application for substantial period of time and when this Court was inclined to dismiss the application, the learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, sought permission to withdraw the application. 2.

He submitted that this Court may consider expediting the trial and granting liberty to the applicant to renew his prayer for bail, in the event the trial is not completed expeditiously.

3.

The application is dismissed as withdrawn.

4.

Since the charges have been framed on 13.02.2024 and as per the chargesheet, the prosecution intends to examine about 19 witnesses, the trial is expedited. The trial court is directed to make an endeavour to complete the trial within one year from today.

5.

In the event the trial is not completed within one year and delay is not attributable to the applicant, liberty is reserved to renew his prayer for bail. (MANISH PITALE, J) Digitally signed by PRIYA KAMBLI Date:
