Having argued the application for considerable period of time and when the Court was inclined to dismiss the application, the learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, sought permission to withdraw the application.

It was submitted that this Court may consider expediting the trial and give liberty to the applicant to renew his bail application after reasonable period of time.

In view of the above, the application is dismissed as withdrawn. 4.

The learned APP informs this Court that charges are yet to be framed.

5.

The Special Court is directed to frame charges within six weeks from today. Considering the number of witnesses cited in the chargesheet, the Special Court is directed to complete the trial within one year. 6.

If the trial is not completed within the said period of time and delay is not attributable to the applicant, liberty is reserved to the applicant to renew his prayer for bail.
