Heard Mr. Dushyant Digamber, learned Advocate for the Applicant, Ms. Veera Shinde, learned APP for the Respondent-State and Ms. Tanvi Tapkira, learned Advocate for Respondent No.2. 2.

By the present Application, Applicant is seeking bail in Crime No. 122 of 2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 354 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (for short "IPC") and under Sections 4, 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offence Act, 2012 (for short "POCSO" Act) registered at Panhala Police Station, Kolhapur. Said crime is registered as Special Case No.197 of 2023 and was allotted to the Additional Sessions Judge-1, Kolhapur. 3.

Today, when the matter was called out, Mr. Dushyant Digamber, learned Advocate for the Applicant, states that the Applicant herein has been acquitted in Special Case No.197 of 2023 and therefore the present Application has been rendered infructuous. Gayatri Shimpi

Ms. Veera Shinde, learned APP for the Respondent-State and Ms. Tanvi Tapkire, learned Advocate for Respondent No.2, states that the Special Case No.197 of 2023 has ended in acquittal of the Applicant.

In view of the above, Criminal Bail Application No.2458 of 2024 is dismissed as infructuous.
