By the present application, Applicant is seeking bail in connection with C. R. No.139 of 2023 registered with Shirgaon Parandwadi Police Station for the offences punishable under Section 376(2) of IPC and Section 3, 4, 5(L), and 6 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offence Act, 2012. 3.

Ms. Anamika Malhotra, leaned APP for the State, submits

19-ba-2714-2024.doc that the Trial has substantially proceeded and the matter is presently at the stage of statement under Section 313 of Cr.PC (Section 351 of BNSS). She submits that the entire matter would be disposed off in a short span of time, as such the present application ought not to be considered.

Learned Advocate for the Applicant sought a pass over to take instructions from the Applicant and the Advocate on record. Learned Advocate for the Applicant states that his senior is in personal difficulty, and therefore, prays time to argue the matter. He requests for and adjournment till 07.07.2025. 5.
