After having argued for some time and when this Court was inclined to dismiss the application, the learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, sought permission to withdraw the application. The learned counsel for the applicant prayed for liberty to renew the prayer for bail, if the trial is not completed within a stipulated period of time.

The charge-sheet is already filed and prosecution appears to have cited 22 witness, all of whom may not be examined during the actual course of trial. In that light the trial is expedited and the concerned Court is directed to make an effort to complete the trial within one year from today.

In the light of the statement made on behalf of the applicant, the application is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to renew the prayer for bail, in case the trial is not completed within one year. MANISH PITALE, J.
