The learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that inadvertently the victim is not made a party in the present application, although offences under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offencs Act are also registered against the applicant. In that light, he seeks leave to amend.

In the interest of justice, leave to amend is granted. The applicant to add the victim as respondent No.2. The amendment be carried out forthwith.

Issue notice to respondent No.2, returnable on 19th August, 2024, "High on Board."

4.

The respondent No.2 shall be served through the Investigating Shrikant Malani

5.

Amended copy of the application shall also be served on the office of the Public Prosecutor.
