After having argued for some time, the learned counsel for the applicant submitted that this Court may consider expediting the trial, as the evidence of the witnesses has commenced. 2.
He submits that if this Court is pleased to issue such a direction, the application be treated as having been withdrawn. 3.
The learned APP informs this Court that there are 26 witnesses shown in the charge-sheet, to be examined during the course of trial. In practical terms, it is seen that fewer witnesses are examined. Presently, the evidence of the second witness is being recorded.

In that light, the application is disposed of as withdrawn.

However, the concerned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial proceedings and to complete the trial on or before 31st August 2025.
