This bail application was urgently circulated in the light of the fact that the daughter of the applicant is to get married on 28.08.2024. 2.

The learned senior counsel for the applicant submits that the application can be argued on merits, as and when date is allotted by this Court, but for the present, there is urgency in the matter as the applicant is pressing for interim bail for limited period. A wedding invitation card pertaining to the marriage of daughter of applicant fixed for 28.08.2024, is tendered and the same is taken on record. It is submitted that this Court may consider directing the applicant to be released on interim bail, so that he can attend the marriage of his daughter. It is submitted that the wife of applicant i.e. the mother of daughter who is getting married, is no more and therefore, it is all the more necessary for the applicant, as the sole surviving parent, to attend the marriage.
