This application was granted urgent circulation on the ground of the applicant is suffering from severe medical emergency during incarceration. Copies of certain documents have been filed with the application to support the aforesaid contention.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that copy of the application was served on the office of the prosecutor yesterday. In the present case, the contesting respondent is Union of India, through CBI, ACB, Mumbai.

There is no appearance on behalf of the said respondent. 4.
