In this application, bail is being sought primarily on the ground of medical condition of the applicant. Reply affidavit is filed by respondent - CBI placing on record medical report issued by Medical Officer, Mumbai District Women Prison, Byculla, Mumbai.

But, Mr. Shirsat, learned counsel appearing for the respondent - CBI submits that it would be appropriate that a report is called from the J.J. Hospital with regard to the present condition of the applicant, as she is admitted as indoor patient at J.J. Hospital.

In view of the above, the Superintendent of J.J. Hospital shall submit a report with regard to the current health status of the applicant - Sandhya Rani Kadiyala, who is said to be an indoor patient at J.J. Hospital. Shrikant Malani

The report be filed on or before 30th September, 2024. This will assist the Court in considering the submissions being advanced on behalf of the applicant.

The learned APP appearing for respondent No.2 is requested to communicate this order to the concerned Authorities of J.J. Hospital, Mumbai. Copy of the report may also be given to the learned counsel appearing for the applicant.

List for further consideration on 01st October, 2024, to be included in the "Supplementary List."
