Perused the report received from the trial Court dated 1 October 2024 which mentions the following facts: (i) Earlier accused No.1 has engaged an Advocate but now he has withdrawn power and accused No.1 wants to engage another Advocate, that is why the matter is kept today. (ii) There is a notice given by the prosecution under Section 294 of the Code and learned Advocate Shri Chavan for accused No.2-present applicant sought time to file reply till 9 October 2024.

LSP 2 5 ba 3006.24.doc (iii) There are in all 114 under trial prisoners cases pending. (iv) There are various matters expedited by this Court. (v) It will take at least one year for concluding the trial. 2.

There is a request on behalf of the applicant to keep back the matter.

The learned APP for the first informant submitted that there is no change in the circumstances and in fact both the accused are delaying the trial. This Court wants to ascertain about the progress before the trial Court.
