The learned A.P.P. on instructions submits that the prosecution evidence is almost over. It is submitted that at this stage the applicant may not be released on bail. 2.
On the other hand, the learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is in jail for six years and four months.

There is substance in the submission of the learned A.P.P. However, considering the fact that applicant is in jail for more than six years, instead of not entertaining the application, it would be appropriate to adjourn the application, so that the prayer for bail can be considered, if the trial is not concluded within a reasonable time. 4.
List the application on 10th March 2025.
