By way of the present Application, the Applicant seeks enlargement on bail in connection with C.R. No. 47 of 2022 registered with DCB CID, Unit-V, Kurla, Mumbai, for the offences punishable under Sections 344, 366, 376, 376(2)(k), 376(2)(n), 354, 354-A, 354-B, 354-D, 506, 506(2), 323, 34 of
Shivgan 6-BA-3376-2024.doc the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short 'IPC') read with Section 66(E) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. 2.
By order dated 25th September 2025, when the matter was listed for hearing, Ms. Malhora, learned APP, submitted that the Victim was in the witness box and her deposition was partly recorded. This Court, therefore, requested the Trial Court to complete the deposition of the Victim on or before 10th November 2025.

It is now informed that the deposition of the victim has been completed. Mr. Karim Pathan, learned counsel appearing for the Applicant, has tendered on record the deposition of PW/1 i.e. Victim.

Ms. Anuja Gotad, learned APP representing the State in the matter, submits that the second witness is presently in the witness box and that the prosecution intends to examine as many as twelve witnesses.

In the aforesaid circumstances, and considering that the trial is in progress, I am not inclined to enlarge the Applicant on bail at this stage. However, the Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order.

The Bail Application is accordingly rejected and disposed of.
