It is pointed out that since offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 are also registered against the applicant, the victim will have to be made party and in that regard, permission is sought to amend the application.

Leave is granted to amend the application, in order to add the victim as party respondent No.2, while appropriately concealing her identity. 4.

The amendment be carried out within one week from today. Issue notice to respondent No.2, returnable on 13.09.2024 High on Board. 5.

The notice shall be served through the investigating officer, for which purpose the applicant shall provide an additional set of papers to the investigating officer.
