This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No.63 of 2024 registered at Ambad Police Station, Nashik for the offences punishable under Sections 306, 498-A, 323 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

The deceased was the wife of present applicant. It is alleged that the applicant used to harass the deceased. It is alleged that due to said harassment, on the date of incident which took place on 27.01.2024, the deceased committed suicide by hanging herself.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent - State and perused the chargesheet. Dinesh S. Sherla 1/2

There are statements of witnesses in relation to the alleged harassment, however, the applicant is in jail for about 1 year, and there are no chances of conclusion of trial in near future. In that view of the matter, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail. In the result, the following order is passed.

O R D E R

A] The Application is allowed.

B] The applicant be released on bail in C.R. No.63 of 2024 registered at Ambad Police Station, Nashik for the offences punishable under Sections 306, 498-A, 323 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code on furnishing P.R Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with one or two sureties in the like amount.

C] The applicant shall attend the concerned police station once in a month ,i.e., on first Saturday between 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. till conclusion of the trial.
