1) The learned counsel appearing for Appellant would submit that the Appellant had initially filed Criminal Bail Application and on 26 July 2024 erroneous request was made to the Court for conversion of Bail Application into Appeal without noticing the fact that provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) are involved in the present case. He would accordingly seek leave to reconvert the Criminal Appeal into Criminal Bail Application. Leave granted. 2) Necessary amendment to be carried out within two weeks from today and thereafter, the Criminal Appeal be moved before the appropriate Court. Removed from board.
