Heard Mr. Nikiteshkumar Kotangale, learned Advocate for the Applicant and Mr. Vinod Chate, learned A.P.P. for the State/Respondent.

Mr. Nikiteshkumar Kotangale, learned Advocate for the Applicant states that the Applicant is in jail since 7th November 2023 and Charge is not framed till date, as such he submits that the case of Applicant will have to be tested on the right to speedy trial.

Mr. Vinod Chate, learned A.P.P. for the State/Respondent on instructions from the Investigating Officer states that the matter before the learned Trial Court is scheduled on 27th June 2025. He Gitalaxmi

3-BA-3776-2024.doc submits that on the said date the Applicant will be produced before the learned Sessions Court, Pune and positively Charge would be framed. He submits that a request would be made to the learned Trial Court to summon Respondent No. 2/victim, within a period of 10 days and all endevours will be made by the prosecution to examine the victim within a period of one month from 27th June 2025.

Mr. Nikiteshkumar Kotangale, learned Advocate submits that the Applicant would co-operate in the matter and shall not seek any adjournment. Said statement is accepted. 5.

In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the examination of Respondent No. 2/victim. 6.

On the assurance given by Mr. Vinod Chate, learned A.P.P., the hearing in the present Bail Application is deferred to 30th July 2025.
