The learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the present application. The learned counsel for the applicant, however, submits that the applicant is in jail for more than 2 and 1⁄2 years and therefore trial may be expedited. 2.

The allegations against the present applicant are of penetrative sexual assault on minor boy.

Considering the fact that the victim is minor, his evidence needs to be recorded as early as possible. Considering the overall facts and circumstances, the trial Court shall endeavour to conclude the trial expeditiously.
