Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

This is a second application for bail. By an order dated 5th February, 2024 report was called from the learned Sessions Judge seized with SC No.282/2016. The learned Sessions Judge has informed that as of 24th February, 2024 only the medical officer was to be examined and, thereafter, the prosecution evidence would be closed.

The learned APP has tendered a report of the Senior PI, Sakinaka Police Station. It indicates that examination of the accused under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is over. Thus, at this stage, there is no 1/2

1-BA3955-2024.DOC propriety in entertaining this application as any observation by this Court may bear upon the outcome of the trial. 4.

Since the trial has already been expedited and it is almost at the verge of completion, the learned Sessions Judge is requested to make utmost endeavour to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible. In the event, the trial is not concluded within a period of two months, the applicant shall have the liberty to revive the prayer for bail. 5.

Application stands disposed.
