This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No.14 of 2022 registered at Ravet Police Station, Dist.-Pune, for the offences punishable under Section 302 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code.

The deceased and the sister of the co-accused in the present crime were in relationship. It is alleged that coaccused was against the said relationship and was thus annoyed with the deceased. It is alleged that, thus on the date of incident which took place on 16.07.2022, the present Zeenat Pathan
5-BA-3977-2024.doc applicant and co-accused on some pretext took the deceased to Lonavala and there committed his murder.

Prima facie from the statements of witnesses, the incident does not appear to be premeditated. The applicant is in jail for two and half years. The motive for the alleged crime is attributed to the co-accused. There are no other criminal antecedents against the applicant.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.
ORDER
(i) Criminal Bail Application is allowed;
(ii) The applicant is directed to be released on bail in connection with Crime No.14 of 2022 registered at Ravet Police Station, Dist.-Pune, for the offences punishable under Section 302 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount;
(iii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station once in a month i.e., on first Saturday between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. till conclusion of trial; (iv) Application stands disposed of accordingly.
