Heard Mr. Satyam Dubey, learned Advocate for the Applicant and Mr. V. N. Sagare, learned A.P.P. for the State/Respondent. 2.

The matter was heard for sometime.

Mr. V. N. Sagare, learned A.P.P. for the State/Respondent states that the matter pertains to a serious offence. He on instructions from PSI Mr. Bharat Borade attached to Khadak Police Station, Pune City, makes a statement that though the prosecution has cited 18 witnesses, the prosecution shall examine 6 witnesses and according to him, the trial would be concluded within a period of six months from today. As such, he states that in the event the trial is not concluded within a period of six months, then the Applicant be granted liberty to move the Court for bail. Gitalaxmi

Mr. Satyam Dubey, learned Advocate on behalf of the Applicant, on instructions from Mr. Akhalak Shaikh Abdul Kadar, father of Applicant, who is present in the Court, submits that in view of the statement made by the prosecution, the Applicant craves leave to withdraw the present Criminal Bail Application with liberty to file the same after six months from today in the event the trial is not completed.

The statement made on behalf of the prosecution by Mr. V. N. Sagare, learned A.P.P., is accepted. In the event, the trial is not completed within a period of six months from today, the Applicant shall be at liberty to apply for bail. If such Application is filed, then the same will be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above statements made by the parties, the present Criminal Bail Application No. 4009 of 2024 is disposed of as withdrawn.
