Time is sought by the learned Advocate appearing on behalf of victim - respondent No. 2. It is pertinent to note that the said Advocate has been appointed through the Legal Services Committee to represent the victim, and it was her duty to remain present in the Court during the hearing. The excuse offered before the Court that she received the message only in the morning, is not acceptable, particularly when the board was duly notified on Saturday, a week in advance. Despite having sufficient notice, the Advocate has remained absent and has now sought adjournment. This Court is of the considered view that such conduct reflects a

39-ba-4065-2024.doc casual approach and cannot be tolerated.

In place of the earlier appointed Advocate, Ms. Aneesa Cheema is hereby appointed to represent the victim - respondent No. 2.

The Advocate for the applicant shall supply copy of the bail application along with necessary papers to the newly appointed advocate within one week from today.

List the Bail Application on 9 July 2025 under the caption 'For Circulation'.
