Despite the fact that this application was circulated today and included in the supplementary list upon a praecipe being moved by the learned counsel for the applicant, when the application is called for hearing, there is no appearance on behalf of the applicant.

It is not clear as to whether the applicant has served a copy on the Investigating Officer for further service of notice and papers on respondent No.2. In view of the above, if the applicant has not already served a copy on the Investigating Officer, the same shall be done within one week from today. The Investigating Officer shall ensure that the respondent No.2 is put to notice with regard to pendency of the present application and the next date of listing. The Investigating Officer shall also specifically inform the respondent No.2 that, if she so desires, she can avail legal-aid. 4.
