CORAM

: AMIT BORKAR, J.

DATED : JULY 4, 2025 P.C.:

1.

This Court, vide detailed order dated 30 April 2024, observed that the present application need not be heard on merits. However, an explanation was sought from the learned Sessions Judge regarding the delay in framing of charges. 2.

In furtherance of the said order, the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Thane, has furnished a detailed chronology of events reflecting the conduct of the accused. It is noted that on 15 occasions, as mentioned in the explanation, the accused consistently refused to participate in the charge framing proceedings, citing the absence of his private counsel. Despite such non-cooperation, the Sessions Judge made multiple efforts, including directing the accused to avail himself of legal aid services. However, the accused persistently refused and insisted on

3.

This Court is now informed that the Sessions Judge has framed the charges.

4.

The Sessions Judge shall, therefore, complete the trial as expeditiously as possible.

5.

The Bail Application stands disposed of.
