Heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

Learned APP seeks time to take instructions.

Learned APP is requested to take specific instructions from his counterpart before the Court of Session as regards the number of witnesses the learned Prosecutor proposes to examine.

Since the trial has been expedited by the Supreme Court by an order dated 10 February 2021 and by an order dated 4 March 2024 in BA No.21 of 2024, this Court has again requested the learned Sessions Judge seized with Sessions Case No.26 of 2021 to make an endeavour to conclude the trial as early as possible and preferably within a period of six months from the date of the order, it may be expedient to call a report from the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Kalyan, regarding the stage and progress of the trial and the likely time required to conclude the trial.

The Registrar (Judicial I) is requested to call such report from the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Kalyan seized with Sessions Case No.26 of 2021 on or before 10 January 2025.
