The bail is sought on the ground of parity.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that by order dated 18.05.2024, the Special Court (POCSO), Sindhudurg-Oros has granted bail to the similarly circumstanced co-accused Vikas Gavit. It is submitted that though the ground of parity was raised before the Special Court, however, there is no finding in the order passed by the Special Court to that effect.

In that view of the matter, liberty is granted to file fresh application for bail on the ground of parity before the Special Court (POCSO), Sindhudurg-Oros.

If such application is filed, the Special Court (POCSO), Sindhudurg-Oros shall decide the same on it's own merits. 5.

The Application is disposed of accordingly.
