Heard learned Counsel for the parties.
2) Mr. Mukte, learned Counsel for the Applicant states that charge has been framed on 3rd February, 2025. However, till date, no prosecution witness has been examined by the trial Court in the Sessions Case arising out of the subject crime.
3) Learned APP states that the prosecution will endeavour to examine the material witnesses within 6 to 12 months from today. 4) In view thereof, the learned Counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Application may be disposed of with liberty to the Applicant to renew his prayer after one year, if the material witnesses are not examined within one year from today.

6) It is made clear that, the Application is not heard on the merits.
7) As a result, the Interim Application No.234 of 2026 does not survive and is accordingly disposed of.
