The present bail application is being pressed on medical grounds. In that context, the learned APP has tendered medical report dated 18.10.2024 prepared by the Chief Medical Officer of Thane Central Prison, pertaining to the condition of the applicant. The said report is taken on record and marked 'X'. The relevant portion of the report reads as follows:- "16.
Since 25/11/2023 prisoner is admitted at central Prison Thane and is known case of Hypertension with Diabetes Mellitus Type I & diminishing vision of left eye. Prisoner was timely sent to Sir JJ group of Hospital, Mumbai for further investigations & treatment.
As per application to high court report submitted to as follow. a.
Anti VEGF Done on regular interval at OPTHALMOLOGY Dept, Sir JJ group of Hospital, Mumbai. b.
prisoner has complaint of low back pain and medications are continuing at Prison.
c.
as per her complaint of ovarian cyst visiting gynecologist examine and given treatment regularly.
d.
At present there is no complaint of scalp abscess (past history of small sebaccous cyst).
e.
Prisoner blood test was done her cholesterol level is increase, treatment is given accordingly.

f.
prisoner is known case of Diabetes Mellitus since 7 yrs anti diabetic treatment is continuing at prison and her diabetes under satisfactory controlled.
g.
At present prisoner has no complaint or signs and symptoms of gangrene.
On 30/09/2024 2decho test was done suggestive of Hypertensive Heart Disease with good LV function. According to follow up day prisoner will send to Sir JJ group of Hospital, Mumbai for treatment."

In view of the above, the learned APP submits that there is no substance in the contentions raised in the present application. 3.
On the other hand, the learned counsel for the applicant submits that at least on three aspects, this Court may consider calling for a detailed report; firstly, pertaining to the regular treatment required for the applicant's ailment pertaining to her eyes; secondly, the treatment required for lower back pain and possible surgery; and thirdly, surgery required for ovarian cyst.

The aforesaid three aspects are relatable to item Nos.(a), (b) and (c) in the above-quoted portion of the medical report submitted by the Chief Medical Officer of Thane Central Prison. 5.
In view of the specific submissions made on behalf of the applicant, the Superintendent of the JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai is directed to arrange for medical examination of the applicant within two weeks from today. The medical examination shall be undertaken to report to this Court with regard to the nature of ailments pertaining to the three aspects specifically highlighted hereinabove on behalf of the applicant. Accordingly, the specialists concerning the Departments of Ophthalmology, Orthopedic and Gynecology will have to be consulted and a comprehensive report in that regard shall be submitted by the Superintendent of the JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai through the 2/3
learned APP within three weeks from today.
