This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No.104 of 2021 registered at Malegaon Taluka Police Station, District : Nashik, for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 376(2)(L) (N) of the Indian Penal Code.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.P.P. for the Respondent-State.

The learned A.P.P. for the Respondent-State submits that the trial has already commenced.

In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail at this stage. However, considering the fact that the applicant is in jail for more than four years, the Trial Court shall endeavour to conclude the trial within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
