This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No.261 of 2024 registered at Tembhurni Police Station, District : Solapur, for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 376(2)(n), 377, 494, 495, 496, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

The applicant and the victim got acquainted with each other through Instagram. The allegations against the applicant are that he took the victim to various places and Zeenat Pathan

52-BA-4447-2024.doc committed forcible sexual intercourse with her. It is alleged that he made her to marry him though he was already married.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.P.P. for the Respondent-State, the learned counsel for the respondent/Victim and perused the statement of the prosecutrix.

Prima facie the case appears to be of consensual sexual relationship. In that view of the matter, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.

ORDER

(i) Criminal Bail Application is allowed;

(ii) The applicant is directed to be released on bail in connection with Crime No.261 of 2024 registered at Tembhurni Police Station, District : Solapur, for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 376(2)(n), 377, 494, 495, 496, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount;

(iii) Application stands disposed of accordingly.
