Heard Mr. Shaikh, learned Advocate for Applicant; Mr. Sonavane, learned APP for Respondent No.1 - State of Maharashtra and Mr. Mukte, learned Advocate for Respondent No.2 (appointed through legal aid).

By order dated 07.01.2025, I had appointed Mr. Mukte, learned Advocate to represent and espouse the cause of Complainant who is arraigned as Respondent No.2 in the present crime. It is seen that Mr. Mukte belongs to the same chamber as that of the Advocate who is handling case of Applicant.

In that view of the matter, order dated 07.01.2025 stands recalled and cancelled. In place of Mr. Mukte, Ms. Deepti Thorat

The High Court Legal Services Committee of this Court is directed to issue appointment letter and papers of the matter to Advocate Ms. Thorat forthwith in accordance with law to represent and espouse the cause of Respondent through the legal aid.

It shall be open to Mr. Shaikh, learned Advocate to hand over to her copy of brief to Ms. Thorat, learned Advocate appointed to represent and espouse the cause of Respondent No.2 - Complainant. Ms. Thorat is directed to take instructions from Respondent No.2 - Complainant and appropriately plead the case before the Court. 5.

Copy of this order shall be conveyed to Respondent No.2 - Complainant by Investigating Officer and learned APP shall ensure the same.
