The learned Counsel for the Applicant submitted that the Applicant has been in custody since September 2022 and the charge has not been framed.

6.

Having regard to the nature of the indictment, nature and gravity of the accusation and the period of incarceration, at this stage, the Court does not consider it appropriate to enlarge the Applicant on bail on the ground of long period of incarceration. The trial can, however, be expedited.

7.

The Application stands rejected.

8.

The learned Judge seized with Sessions Case No. 59 of 2023 arising out of CR No. 826 of 2022 registered with Mankhurd Police Station is requested to commence and conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible.
