Applicant is indicted in an offence punishable under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. Respondent No.2 is the prosecutrix. Learned Advocate for Applicant is directed to serve a copy of the Application on the concerned Investigating Officer. Humdast permitted.

The Investigating Officer is directed to depute a responsible Police Officer to get appropriate instructions from Respondent No.2 - prosecutrix as to whether she requires legal representation to espouse her cause and apprise the Court on the next adjourned date upon which this Court shall take further steps to appoint Advocate from the legal aid, if so required.
