This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No. 263 of 2024 registered at Talegaon Dabhade (Pimpri Chinchwad) Police Station, District : Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 323, 504 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.
It is the case of the prosecution that on the date of incident, which took place on 29.04.2024 out of some misunderstanding, the present applicant assaulted the injured Vaibhav Kadam by some sharp weapon and attempted to commit his murder.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.P.P. for the Respondent-State.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that there is a cross case as the applicant was also assaulted. It is submitted that the applicant is in jail for about 11 months and there are no other criminal antecedents against him. 6.
On the other hand, the learned A.P.P. for the Respondent-State submits that considering the nature of offence, the applicant may not be released on bail 7.
I have perused the injury certificate. It appears that the injured was treated as a outdoor patient. There is a cross case in relation to the incident in question. The applicant is in jail for about 11 months. There are no other criminal antecedents against the applicant. Considering the overall facts and circumstances, I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.
ORDER
(i) Criminal Bail Application is allowed;
(ii) The applicant is directed to be released on bail in connection with Crime No. 263 of 2024 registered at Talegaon Dabhade (Pimpri Chinchwad) Police Station, District : Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 307, 323, 504 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount;
(iii) Application stands disposed of accordingly.
