This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No.484 of 2024 registered at Pandharpur City Police Station, Solapur rural for the offences punishable under Sections 143 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 3,4,5, 6 and 7 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.

The allegations against the present applicant and the coaccused are of running brothel and forcing women into prostitution activity.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent - State.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has nothing to do with the alleged crime. It is submitted that the applicant is in jail for 7 months and there are no other criminal antecedents against the applicant.

On the other hand, the learned APP for the respondent/State submits that considering the nature of offence, the applicant may not be released on bail.

There are no minor victims. Considering the fact that there are no other criminal antecedents against the applicant, I am inclined to release him on bail. In the result, the following order is passed.

O R D E R

A] The Application is allowed.

B] The applicant be released on bail in C.R. No. 484 of 2024 registered at Pandharpur City Police Station, Solapur rural for the offences punishable under Sections 143 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 3,4,5, 6 and 7 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act on furnishing P.R Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with one or two sureties in the like amount. C] The applicant shall not commit any other crime of similar nature.
