After hearing the matter for some time, when I was not inclined to grant relief, Ms. Ashwinii Achari, learned Counsel for the Applicant, sought permission to withdraw the Bail Application.

Ms. Megha Bajoria, learned APP, stated that although the list of witnesses indicates 10 witnesses to be examined, the prosecution intends to examine only 7 to 8 witnesses. She further submitted that the charges are still not framed since 6th November 2025
16-BA-5059-2024.DOC the co-accused, who was enlarged on bail, has avoided to appear before the Trial Court. A bailable warrant is issued against the said absconding accused. Be that as it may, since the Applicant is in custody since 27th April 2023, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within a period of 6 months from the date this order is placed before it.

The present Bail Application is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn.
