This is an application for regular bail.

The applicant came to be arrested in Crime No. 65/2020, registered with Guhagar Police Station, Ratnagiri, for offences punishable under Sections 307 and 452 of the Indian Penal Code (for short "IPC").

The injured is the mother-in-law of the present applicant. According to the prosecution, on the date of Zeenat Pathan
5-BA-5113-2024.doc incident, which took place on 23.11.2020, the present applicant assaulted the injured by Koyata and attempted to kill her due to some matrimonial dispute.

The applicant is in jail for more than four and half years. The trial is at the stage of framing of the charge. In that view of the matter I am inclined to release the applicant on bail.
ORDER
(i) Criminal Bail Application is allowed;
(ii) The applicant is directed to be released on bail in connection with Crime No. 65/2020, registered with Guhagar Police Station, Ratnagiri, for offences punishable under Sections 307 and 452 of the IPC on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount;
(iii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station once in a month i.e. on first Saturday between 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. till conclusion of trial; (iv) The applicant shall not enter into the jurisdiction of Guhagar Police Station till the conclusion of trial. (v) Application stands disposed of accordingly.
